Kia Ora Ake - Child and Youth Mental Health Team at Asian Family Serices

Asian Family Services' child and youth mental health service employs young people with a lived experience of mental distress and experience growing up in Aotearoa as Asian young people. Our kaimahi bring the experience, strength and hope of their lived experience to inform the way they support young people.
Our Kia Ora Ake child and youth mental health service works in schools across the Counties Manukau region, supporting young people aged 5-13 through small group and 1 on 1 programmes. Our service is culturally tailored to meet the needs of diverse Asian communities, especially 1.5 and 2nd generation young Asian people. We are proud to deliver a peer led, clinically informed service which embraces the diversity of our community in Counties Manukau.
