Choi is a migrant from Singapore who came with close to 20 years of experience in social service and mental health sectors of which six years were in the management position. Prior to her migration, she was working with the National Addictions Management Service in Singapore as a Senior Counsellor. She obtained her Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) and her Bachelor of Science from National University of Singapore. She started as a volunteer with Asian Family Service in March 2014 and became a part-time Counsellor/Health Promoter in August 2014. She was given the opportunity to be part of the Northern Nga Kiwi team in December 2014 and learned from the leadership of Narelle. In Feb 2016, she was eventually fully employed under Asian Family Services. She is fluent in English and Mandarin; and also speak Chinese dialects such as Fujian (Taiwanese), Chaozhou (Teochew) and Cantonese. Choi is currently living in the second most beautiful town in New Zealand, Pukekohe, with her supportive husband and two lovely children.
邱彩凤来自新加坡，拥有新加坡国立大学理学学士和澳大利亚斯威本科技大学心理辅导硕士学位，并在心理辅导和精神健康方面有着20年的工作经验。曾在新加坡国立成瘾治疗服务中心（National Addictions Management Services，NAMS）担任高级心理辅导老师6年。2014年3月开始在亚裔家庭服务中心从事义工活动，同年8月开始兼职作为心理辅导员和公共健康推广员，12月开始在新西兰问题赌博基金会兼职心理辅导员。2016年2月开始，作为心理辅导员和公共健康推广员全职工作于亚裔家庭服务中心。邱彩凤精通英语和国语，还可以讲福建话、潮州话和粤语。目前，邱彩凤和她的丈夫及2个可爱的孩子住在奥克兰南部小镇Pukekohe
